Personal Hygiene with Ozone Water

Many infections begin with everyday exposure to pathogens on the skin, in the mouth, and within the surrounding environment. Consistently reducing microbial load at these points of contact can support overall hygiene. One approach is the routine use of freshly ozonated water.

Ozone Water Features

Disinfects: Kills 99.9% of all bacteria, viruses, and fungi on contact

Personal Care: Benefits

  • Skin Conditions, rash, and hot spots
  • Hand & Body Wash
  • Disinfects teeth and gums and kills bad breath odors
  • Prevents plaque & gingivitis
  • Wounds: Promotes Healing: Cuts, Burns, Sores
  • Promotes faster healing of sprains and bruises
  • Sores heal without infection and with less scarring
  • Reduce exposure to and the amount of chemicals used

Daily Use

Drinking Ozone Water

Drink a glass of freshly ozonated water in the morning. Because ozone dissipates quickly, it should be consumed soon after preparation.

Throughout the day, refill a bottle with fresh ozonated water and take a few sips shortly after each preparation. This provides repeated exposure in the mouth and throat.

 Shower Application

Fill a small pump sprayer with freshly ozonated water and bring it into the shower.  A quick mist is sufficient. For comfort, the shower can remain running during application.

After washing with soap and rinsing:

  • Apply a light, even mist of ozonated water over the body
  • Pay extra attention to cuts, abrasions, and irritated areas
  • Inhale the mist to disinfect the nasal area and throat

Oral Hygiene Application

  • Use ozonated water in a water flosser (water pick)
  • Rinse the mouth to freshen breath
  • Rinse after dental procedures to promote rapid healing and prevent infection

Wounds, Sprains, First Aid, and Insect Bites

Immersion in ozonated water may help support rapid healing and recovery of injuries.

  • Submerge the affected area in water with a continuous stream of ozone bubbles
  • Suggested use: up to 30 minutes, up to twice daily
  • Spray ozone water on skin injuries

Some individuals report reduced irritation from insect bites following exposure. Responses may vary depending on the type of bite.

 Key Considerations

  • Ozonated water is short-lived and most effective when used immediately after preparation
  • Consistent, routine use is more beneficial than occasional application
  • Gentle, repeated exposure can help maintain the cleanliness of the skin and oral surfaces

Summary

Incorporating freshly ozonated water into a daily hygiene routine—through drinking and topical application—may help support a cleaner personal environment by reducing microbial exposure on the skin and in the mouth.
